Marc Anthony "Begging" to Get Jennifer Lopez Back?

Jennifer Lopez seems to be doing just fine without Marc Anthony -- but not vice versa, according to Us Weekly. A source tells the magazine that Anthony isn't coping well with the end of his seven-year-marriage -- and that he's been taking his frustration out on his soon-to-be-ex wife.

"His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life," claims the insider.

The source, who is reportedly close to Lopez, adds that Anthony is being equally uncooperative with divorce negotiations. "He's being difficult on every little point," claims the source. "He wants to prolong things so she reconsiders."

Frankly, it doesn't seem like Lopez will be reconsidering any time soon. In her new Vanity Fair interview, the singer-actress-American Idol judge says that she had to "love myself enough to walk away" from the dysfunctional marriage.

"Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves," she explains. "To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me."

And right now, Lopez seems to be thriving solo. She's been busying filming her new movie, What to Expect When You're Expecting, in Atlanta; she's debuting her new clothing line in O: The Oprah Magazine; and she's reportedly getting a $20 million paycheck for the next season of Idol. Plus she's been surrounded by friends and family since the breakup, as her extravagant Miami birthday party proved. Lopez may not have a man in her life -- but she really does seem like she has it all.

'It's so funny to think I had [her poster] on my wall and here I am about to perform with her,' Jonas told People.

Britney Spears might be the Femme Fatale, but that doesn't mean she can't share the stage with a guy too. After announcing he'd be opening up for Spears at her tour stop in New Jersey, Joe Jonas announced Thursday (August 4) that he'd also be her opening act for stops in Europe.

People reports that the singer — who drops his first-ever solo album, Fast Life, in October — will be on hand for nine dates, including stops in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Spears heads to Europe in September after she wraps up the North American leg of her tour August 25. Her European leg ends in November before she heads to South America for a handful of dates.

"I'm really looking forward to being part of this," Jonas said of the jaunt. "It's a dream come true." He added that the warm-up gig will be an expanded version of smaller shows he's been playing these past few months in places like Chicago and New York. "I'll be playing more music than I have the past few times I've performed live so far. It's going to be really fun to perform some of my music from the album."

Jonas met Spears a few years back at the VMAs and said "she's a very sweet lady" and that, as a kid, he had a bit of a crush on the singer. "She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought," he said. "It's so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her."

Jonas recently wrapped up the music video for "Just in Love With You," which he filmed in Paris. It serves as the follow-up single to "See No More." Fast Life hits stores October 11.

Are you excited Joe is joining Britney on tour? Let us know in the comments!

An a cappella girl group covers Usher's hit for Nationals in next week's episode.
By Aly Semigran

During this week's episode of "Glee", the gang from New Directions took a big risk when they decided they would compete in Nationals by singing their own original songs. Well, the stakes just got a little higher.

MTV News has an exclusive first listen to one of the rival groups who will go up against the McKinley High glee club in New York City during next Tuesday's (May 24) big season two finale. In the upcoming episode, an all-female a cappella group sings Usher's 2004 club and radio smash "Yeah!," which may have the Nationals judges saying just that.

Singers replace synthesizers for the four-note melody that repeats throughout the song, and lead vocalists RaVaughn Brown and Missi Hale match the high energy that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris brought to the track.

Granted, a few things have been tweaked in the version for the tween-friendly show, including the length (the original is over four minutes long, while the "Glee" version comes in at three and a half minutes) and the tune's instructions to "Take that and rewind it back ... got the rhythm make ya booty go."

Also, instead of Ludacris' verse, "We want a lady in the street/ And a freak in the bed," one girl sings, "You know you want a kiss on the lips, old red." The line, "Ludacris fill cups like double D's" has also been cut from the song.

But, it's not all PG. At one point in the girls' rendition of the track, they page homage to Lil Jon's crunk hit "Get Low," singing, "From the windows to the walls" and even Mystikal's booty-happy single "Shake Ya Ass," when they urge, "Show me whatcha' workin' with."

At the 2005 Grammy Awards, the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Yeah!" But, will the song bring the same sort of fortune to this girl group at Nationals? Or will the glory all belong to New Directions this time? Gleeks will still have to wait a few more days to find out.

The "Glee" season finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox, while "Glee": The Music, Volume 6, including the three new original songs "Light Up the World," "Pretending" and "As Long as You're There," will be available on Monday.

What do you think of this a cappella group's version of "Yeah!"? Let us know in the comments section below!

Christian Bale and Tom Hardy film "The Dark Knight Rises" on Sunday
Photo: Jared Wickerham/ Getty Images

While we've had our fair share of superhero flicks in 2011, next year is when the big boys are coming out to play, with Joss Whedon's "Avengers" and Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" hitting theaters in the summer of 2012. After the credits of "Captain America: The First Avenger," fans got an official sneak peek at "The Avengers," and now we have our first clear look at "The Dark Knight Rises" (following an obscure first trailer), via a series of photos from the set in Pittsburgh over the weekend.

While seeing Christian Bale all suited up and ready for action isn't quite as exciting as it was the first or second time around, he's looking as hard and utterly badass as ever. Though the suit looks a little different in the clear white light of day opposed to Nolan's stylized cinematography, it's practically the same as the one used in "The Dark Knight." The real attraction in these photos, however, is the guy Batman's fighting: Tom Hardy's Bane.

When Hardy was first cast in the role, there were some mixed feelings in the fan community. While he's a fantastic actor and proved that he can be terrifyingly menacing in "Bronson," even when the British thespian's all muscled up, he doesn't exactly resemble a humongous Latino man. And in the previously released photo of Bane, we only saw his hulking form from behind.

Those concerns should be put to rest with these photos, however, because while Bale's Batman clearly has the height advantage on Hardy's Bane, there's also a fantastic shot of the shorter, stockier actor overpowering the Dark Knight himself as snow flurries around them. We're a little disappointed that the character is lacking Bane's singlet and lucha mask, but the more military-influenced attire fits perfectly into Nolan's Batman universe.

The photos also give us a clear look at Marion Cotillard's Miranda Tate. While she's been described as a "Wayne Enterprises board member," it looks like her character will also see some action, prowling the streets with heavily armed men and even climbing on top of the "Tumbler" Batmobile. Batman's ride has received a makeover, eschewing the classic black for a paint job that looks a lot like desert camouflage, which raises questions about how it will fit into the fake snow-covered landscape of Gotham City (or Pittsburgh, for that matter).

Take a look at the photos yourself and make sure to tell us about anything significant we might have missed in the comments below!

Check out everything we've got on "The Dark Knight Rises."

'I've been working out every day,' the slender singer tells MTV News of getting trim since his jet-ski accident.
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway

It took a "life-or-death" jet-ski accident for Sean Kingston to realize he needed to get serious about his health. The 21-year-old sat down with MTV News on Tuesday night for "MTV First: Sean Kingston," and the "Beautiful Girls" singer opened up about his recovery from the accident as well as his new lease on life.

At the time of his May 29 accident in the Miami area, Kingston weighed more than 300 pounds, but he has lost nearly 50 pounds in the past two months. "Actually, I shed like 45 pounds, and I've been working out every day. So I've been really getting my healthiness [together].

"Right now, I do the bicycle, I do the treadmill, I play basketball. But I got to keep it up and lose more weight," Kingston told Sway. "It's easy to gain weight when you're in the studio. That's how it first started out but I'm cutting all that out. I don't eat after 6 [p.m.], and then I really just do the treadmill, and that's what it is. I feel a lot better."

Kingston was heavily medicated while hospitalized, recovering from heart surgery and a number of injuries, including a broken jaw. But now that he's feeling better, he's no longer taking any meds. "I was on pain medication, Percocet," he confirmed. "I don't take it no more, though. I don't have any more pain."

Sean was fully aware that many artists have become addicted to pain medications, though, so he had his mom help him monitor his use of the medications. "I had no problem with that," he said of watching his doses. "My mom made sure and kept an eye on it and make sure I wasn't overdoing it."

During the interview, Kingston also revealed a previously unseen photo that showed him in the hospital with his mouth wired shut.

Kingston explained to Sway that he was going about 35 miles an hour on his jet ski during Memorial Day weekend when he miscalculated how high the tide had risen and collided with a bridge. He asked his mom to take that photo of him so it would serve as a reminder of that painful time.

"I remember it, it was crazy," he said looking at the photo again. "At that time, if you notice, I got my mouth wired. Just have it as a memory, because I know the accident is always gonna live with me, but just to have a memory of that time ... I just wanted to have a picture so I can look back at that time."

Share your well-wishes for Kingston in the comments below.

Chris Marrs Piliero explains why the cat in 'Faith (When I Let You Down)' comes across an Easter egg from 'I Wanna Go.
By Jocelyn Vena

Photo: Warner Bros.

Taking Back Sunday's video for "Faith (When I Let You Down)" is a social commentary about the fleeting nature of Internet fame, as illustrated by a fake cat trying to make it in Hollywood. It also happens to be the latest installment in the kooky videography of music video auteur Chris Marrs Piliero.

"It was an idea that I had floating around in my head, and when I listened to the song ... the meaning of the song clicked in my brain," the director said of the clip, which follows his cheeky video for Britney Spears' "I Wanna Go."

"People just love cat videos," he explained. "And I just thought it would be fun to see what it would like if a cat had the brain to be like, 'Sh--, I'm a big deal.' "

In the video, Taking Back Sunday post a clip of their cat online, and soon "OMG, WTF TBS Cat" goes viral. The cat eventually hops on a bus to L.A. (with a quick nod to Guns N' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle"), finds fame, disses the TBS guys, fails to make it as an actor, winds up in porn and eventually can't handle the pressure. Then, of course, TBS Cat heads back home.

Was that cat as difficult in real life as he was in the video?

"I was like halfway into the shoot, and he was throwing out demands," Piliero recalled, laughing. "It got to the point where no one was allowed to make eye contact with him on set. I had to sit him down and have a heart to heart with him."

Along with the GNR homage and a few other pop-culture references, the video includes a cute Easter egg for Britney fans: One of TBS cat's discarded audition scripts is for the fantasy Spears sequel, "Crossroads 2: Cross Harder," which is also on the marquee in "I Wanna Go."

"I made the TBS video right after the Britney video," he said. "I felt like the cat could exist in the same world as the 'I Wanna Go' world, so I thought it would be a fun little Easter egg. Also, [frontman] Adam [Lazzara] from TBS texted me after watching the Britney video, and I didn't even realize that during the paparazzi fight when she swings the mic around — that is something that Adam does all the time, which is something I was very conscious of — but I didn't realize the scene happened in front of a store called Keaton's, and his son is called Keaton!"

'I think she has a distinct sound when she raps,' Spears says of Femme Fatale Tour opening act.
By Christina Garibaldi

When the news that Britney Spears was taking MC Nicki Minaj on the road with her hit, fans — and Brit herself — couldn't have been more excited. The Femme Fatale Tour is now in full swing, with both women bringing their A-game to each performance. And along the way, it seems as if these two have sparked a friendship.

"I think she's great," Spears told MTV News of Minaj. "She's a great artist in every way and I'm really happy for her."

Minaj, who is nominated for three Video Music Awards, brings her own flair to the girl-power tour, adding her eccentric style, her fiery wigs and, of course, her signature beats.

"I think she has a distinct sound when she raps," Spears said. "It really stands out and sets her apart from everyone else. I'm happy she's able to be on tour with me because that's just amazing."

Last month, we caught up with Minaj just before she hit the road with the pop veteran, and she was ready to take that distinct sound to a whole new fanbase.

"I'm just trying to put more theater on that stage. So much to me is music, but it's also about putting on a show, so that's my goal: to truly put on a show and incorporate theater and dance," Minaj said.

And if you're lucky, you might just catch Spears and Minaj teaming up for a special performance of the remix for "Till the World Ends."

"At the end of the show, the last song she comes on every once in awhile," Spears said of Minaj joining her onstage. "Not every show, but it's usually special when she does it."

Will you see Britney and Nicki on tour this summer? Let us know in the comments.

Director Jeff Tremaine hopes special will 'celebrate his life.'
By James Montgomery

Photo: Michael Buckner/ Getty Images

In the time since his death, "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn has been remembered by his friends and fans, and his life was celebrated in a special tribute video played during a memorial service held in Los Angeles.

Now, his "Jackass" associates are planning to honor his legacy with an MTV special, which will feature his greatest moments — and never-before-seen outtakes — from the wildly popular stunt show and subsequent feature films.

That's according to "Jackass" director Jeff Tremaine, who spoke to entertainment site Screen Junkies following MTV's presentation at the annual Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles.

"We're gearing up to do a tribute to Ryan," Tremaine told the site. "That's our next project. [His death] hurt pretty bad. It's hurt everybody, but we want to celebrate his life and show everybody. We have just such an amazing bank of footage of him. We're going to dig it all up so we'll discover it too."

A spokesperson for MTV couldn't be reached for comment by press time, but Tremaine said he hopes the Dunn special will air in the fall and will include new interviews with the late star's "Jackass" associates. He also hinted that the show may finally reveal some classic footage that, so far, has remained in the vaults of Dickhouse Productions — for various reasons.

"There's always been the Van Surfing, him and Chris [Pontius] re-enacting a scene from 'Teen Wolf' that didn't go well," he said. "Ryan was riding on the roof of the van and the van was speeding towards a body of water, stopped a little bit short. He made it to the water but the water was only like five inches deep, slammed pretty bad. We decided not to air that because we thought that kids might imitate it too easily."

Gaga performed the song twice on Thursday, on 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
By Jocelyn Vena

Perhaps it wasn't that big of a secret to begin with, but on Thursday night when Lady Gaga stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" the singer finally confirmed what everybody already presumed: "You and I" will be her next single from Born This Way.

When asked what she planned to perform that night in addition to "The Edge of Glory," Gaga replied, "I'm going to sing my brand-new single 'You and I.' " She recently shot the video for the track in Nebraska.

Gaga also performed those two tracks on "So You Think You Can Dance" on Thursday night, following her appearance on the show the day before as a guest judge.

Before taking the "Kimmel" stage and pounding the keys on her piano for the track, she joked around with the host about her killer cooking skills, her five Emmy nods for her HBO special and, of course, her nomination for the Bowling Hall of Fame.

"I am a good bowler pre-Budweiser," she laughed. "And then once the beers start loading up, I become worse and worse, which is really great for whoever takes me out on the date, 'cause I'm a good, cheap date and a terrible bowler."

So, does Gaga ever don bowling shoes? "Absolutely not!" she said. "What if one of my fans walked into the bowling alley and saw me in flats? They'd have a heart attack."

When Kimmel asked if one day she planned on actually creating any Little Monsters of her own, the always forthright Gaga shared that she does plan on starting a family someday. "Do I want to have kids? Someday ... long, long day from now," she said. She joked about whether or not she'd love her kids even if they didn't turn out to be gay, telling Kimmel, "No, I actually don't even like you 'cause you're not."

Gaga also just announced the planned release of a coffee-table book, called "Lady Gaga," the photos for which are by fashion photographer Terry Richardson. The book is due out in November.
